Nominate a leader

Leadership Academy focuses on individual leadership development for faculty members and staff who are emerging as leaders in university activities including (but not limited to) large-scale interdisciplinary projects, innovative education and training initiatives, or significant community engagement activities.

We train faculty at all levels, including non-tenure eligible faculty such as lecturers, clinical professors, and professors of practice. We also welcome nominations for faculty-facing staff who actively work on research, education, or engagement endeavors. We directly solicit nominations from deans and directors on an annual basis. Off cycle nominations can be submitted via this page. However, it is strongly recommended that interested parties communicate with their unit leaders to coordinate identification and nomination of qualified individuals. commended that interested parties communicate with their unit leaders to coordinate identification and nomination of qualified individuals.
